Locaria is an activity finder and a community directory in one service. It is built with each Partnership rather than sold to it, it draws on OpenActive and every other source you have, and it is priced to sit below procurement thresholds.

An activity finder and a community directory
Most Partnerships need both, and most products offer one.
Locaria lists sessions, clubs and classes in the way an activity finder should: by who they are for, when they run and how far away they are. It also holds the organisations, support services and places around them, so that a resident looking for a walking group finds the befriending service next to it.
Derby's Community Directory, built for Active Partners Trust, is organised as Support that can help me, Things I can do and Places I can go. The same build was cloned for Erewash within weeks.
Each Partnership decides its own categories, filters and wording, and its own team maintains the directory through the administration interface once it is live.
Aligned with Sport England's priorities
Locaria is designed around the outcomes Partnerships are asked to report on.

OpenActive, and every other source you have
OpenActive feeds for your area are imported, filtered and enriched automatically, and they are included at no charge for the life of the service.
Locaria does not depend on them. Spreadsheets, posters, partner APIs and open data are imported alongside OpenActive, and organisations contribute directly through the portal. Whatever happens to OpenActive funding after June 2027, the directory keeps working and keeps growing.

Evidence for your reporting
Every search is a data point about what residents want.
Locaria records what people search for, what they find and what they cannot find, by area. The result is a search-gap analysis: where demand for activity exists and provision does not.
Partnerships use it as evidence in Sport England and Place Partnership reporting, and to decide where the next investment in provision should go. Usage data stays within your own environment.
